Magazine "O Natural" - Special Summer Edition

To celebrate  the World Naturist Week, CNC - Clube Naturista do Centro, issue a special edition of  magazine "O Natural".

For this edition we invite via our national federation  the President of INF.

Opinion, by Sieglinde Ivo

"O Natural" will be released as a special edition and furthermore I am pleased to congratulate you
for this step.
Especially naturists, as we are, cannot do enough advertising for our movement through printing magazines or via Internet. Although there circulate many publications, we have to explain our way of life in order to border ourselves from negative statements.
We live in harmony with nature, protect it and just feel free, easy and good without any clothes. Of course we accept other people´s opinion, but we would like to emphasise, that we also wish to get accepted without any prejudice.

Portugal is a beautiful country and has got many opportunities with its long magical beaches to use it for naturists. Compared to other European countries Portugal has much more days of sun and therefore it is beneficial to develop and support naturism in this region.

Through a publication it is a further step in this direction in order to use and keep the freedom for naturists unconditionally.

As a symbol I hand over this bunch of flowers and I wish you all the best for your campaign and I surely forward your magazine to all federations.

With best regards
Sieglinde Ivo
INF-FNI President

Book: Naked hiking

Naked hiking is an exciting and healthy activity which can be enjoyed by everybody, male or female, of any age, almost anywhere. Perhaps you've wondered whether you could to it too, and if so how, or where might you begin? Or maybe you are an experienced naked hiker already, and feel like stretching your wings a little further by reading about other people's naked adventures in the great outdoors. Many people may be surprised to discover that hiking naked in public spaces is fully legal and actively supported in many countries all around the world. It is also an activity which is practiced by a large number of people in many different locations, from gently meandering around sunny lakesides, to easy rambling across rolling countryside, to the very tops of rocky alpine peaks. This book brings together some of the best writers on the subject, experts in their field, to share their intimate knowledge of naked hiking with you. Included are naked hiking reports, fully illustrated with pictures, from Nicole Wunram (author of "Nacktwandern"), Stephen Gough (the Naked Rambler), Olle Strand (author of "Sol, hälsa, glädje"), Richard Foley (author of "Active Nudists"), Stuart Pitsiligo (author of "Naturist, Red in Tooth and Claw"), and many others. Including over 80 full colour photographs.

Book - NAKED PLACES, SPAIN & PORTUGAL

NAKED PLACES, SPAIN & PORTUGAL is a thorough guide to nude beaches, resorts, campgrounds, guesthouses and a miscellany of other places to get naked in the mainland of Spain and Portugal as well as in the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands.

This meticulously researched and carefully detailed book is unparalleled in its level of coverage of places to get uncovered. If you take this E-book with you on your travels, at your fingertips you will have access to precise directions to over 300 nude beaches throughout Iberia and its islands, from the well known to the obscure.

These listings include pertinent GPS coordinates that you can plug into a navigation device. Additionally, you will have contact information for numerous resorts, campgrounds, hotels, guesthouses and other places to stay, as well as information about a miscellany of other places to get naked. Altogether, just over 400 naked places are included in this guide.

When you have an internet connection, you can click on links for supplemental information about a particular place (including photo links for nude beaches and map links for everything). However, this book is designed to be useful even when you do not have an internet connection. Detailed directions to all beaches begin for a logical starting point, typically a motorway exit, allowing you to find your way even if you do not have a navigation device.

Many of the campgrounds, resorts and other accommodations listed in this book cater specifically and exclusively to nudists. However, this guide also includes a number of establishments that are not full-fledged naturist entities but that provide some opportunities for communal nudity.

Consider, for example, a guesthouse where swimsuits are optional poolside but where clothing is otherwise required, or a Canarian resort that is essentially textile but that has a swimming pool designated just for naturists.

For each commercial listing, the nudity policy is stated so you will know whether it is a place for unrestricted nudity or a place where nudity is sanctioned only in certain areas. Furthermore, NAKED PLACES, SPAIN & PORTUGAL is a guide that seeks to be as inclusive as possible. In addition to family-oriented naturist retreats, the book details couples-only clothing-optional escapes and gay guesthouses and campgrounds that allow nudity.

Listings for accommodations are sorted and coded to make it easy for you to scan them and determine which ones are more likely to be your cup of tea.

Whether you espouse the tenets of a particular naturist philosophy or if nude recreation is just an occasional diversion… whether you are more of a nude beach bum or a nudist resort vacationer… whether you like to be naked as much as possible or just by the pool… whether you are straight or gay, partnered or single, with children or without… whether you are looking for places for family-friendly naturism or places for an adults-only retreat…whether you are strait-laced, free-spirited, religious, atheist or uncertain… we are confident that you will find new and useful information in this guide to enhance your particular naturist lifestyle. is a thorough guide to nude beaches, resorts, campgrounds, guesthouses and a miscellany of other places to get naked in the mainland of Spain and Portugal as well as in the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands. How to Become a Nudist - 3 of 3

Method 3 of 3: Joining Nudist Communities

1 Locate a nudist community.

A online search will help you locate your nearest nudist club or beach. Once you’re comfortable being naked at home, take the next step and visit the naturist community. Be sure you know the rules and expectations of the community before you go.

Don’t let feelings of inadequacy hinder you. Once you visit a nudist community, you’ll realize that everyone is different in some way and that none of it is wrong. The visitors aren't worrying about their bodies, or yours, they’re simply there to enjoy the pleasure of naturism in a friendly environment.

Some nudist communities encourage sex. Be aware of whether that's something you want to experience before you show up.

Participate in online forums. These can be great resources for people who want to discuss the life of a naturist and swap information on good naturist destinations.

2 Take a nudist holiday.

France is an excellent nudist destination, famous for its nude beaches. If France is too far, closer to home you should be able to find clothing-optional resorts, natural mountain hot springs for nude soaking, and skinny-dipping spots.

3 Continue to be naked whenever you can.

Check out your local laws regarding being topless in public, including at parks, swimming pools and at the beach. Likewise, you can participate in one of the fun naked bike rides that take place the world over. Go nude where it is appropriate, hiking, nature reserves.

Be comfortable with yourself and by experience one can go nude as long you don't upset other people.
